The Wormhole Microphone is a new way to capture and enhance the low frequencies of sound sources in the studio. It's a phantom powered electret condenser mic that has a 6ft hose attached to the front of the capsule. The hose is airtight and acts like a physical EQ, attenuating high and mid frequencies while allowing low frequencies to come through.

By itself the Wormhole sounds like the neighbours rehearsing next door but when mixed with close mics it adds fullness and weight to the overall sound.

Recommended for recording drums as a supplementary mic
